About us

Calder UK is named after the artist Alexander Calder. He created colourful and dynamic works of art. Calder UK is just as versatile as a company. Originating in the Netherlands, we gained experience in a wide range of employment-related services, language courses, debt counselling and mental healthcare services. In 2009 we were successfully appointed by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to deliver Flexible New Deal to Jobcentre Plus customers in Central London, Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth.

Our mission
Our goal is to help people getting back to work and in delivering our services we focus on the shortest route. We support and guide our customers to (re)discover their opportunities and the choices open to them so they can turn their objectives into reality.

We strongly believe in the following principles:

  • Personal contact is an important drive for success. So we make it a point to see our customers regularly and to provide them with structure, routine, social contacts and a positive, work-focused environment.

  • In dealing with barriers we use  parallel approach in tackling them instead of taking them on one by one. We believe that people grow from positive experiences so we help our customers to be successful. This helps them in their search for work.

  • We assess all of our customers’ skills, competencies and work experiences and match them with all available job opportunities.

  • Specialised account-managers supply our customers continuously with work opportunities. This way all opportunities are applied.
